Donald E. Lucas

WINDSOR- Donald E. Lucas, 78, of Lower Windsor Township, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Rest Haven Rehab and Nursing in York. He was the husband of Elaine C. (Kraft) Lucas. The couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on October 26, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 11 am-noon. Pastor Ralph Hopkins will be officiating at the service. Mr. Lucas was born in Baltimore, MD on January 23, 1943, the son of the late Edward C. and Laverne O. (Barthel) Lucas. He retired from United Container in Glen Arm, MD after over 35 years of service. He served in The US Airforce. Along with his wife Elaine, Mr. Lucas leaves a son, Scott M. Lucas and his wife Mandy of East Prospect; a daughter, Erin M. Deardorff and her husband Michael of York; four grandchildren, Elana, Addie, Devin, and Ian; a brother, Buddy Lucas and his wife Illona; two sisters, Nancy Baublitz and her husband Bill and Ruth Boblits and her husband Gene; a sister-in-law, Brenda Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
