Fayetteville—Donald E. Leiphart, 89, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services – Chambersburg. He was born January 17, 1923 in Craley. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Donald served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the Dallastown American Legion, Red Lion V.F.W, Craley Fish & Game, Yorkana Game and Gun Club and enjoyed raccoon hunting. He was employed for many years with Johnson Controls, formerly Borg Warner as a machinist. Mr. Leiphart is survived by his close friend, Barney G. Stover of Fayetteville.
