Donald E. Harvey

RED LION - Donald E. Harvey, 75, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late June D. (Keeny) Harvey, who passed away on June 3, 1998. The couple had been married for over 40 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on January 1, 1937, Donald was the son of the late Richard and Helen (Smith) Harvey and the birth son of the late Hester Horn. Mr. Harvey was a forklift operator and box truck deliverer for Cooper Tools for over 31 years until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Harvey loved to hunt, fish and boat. He also enjoyed going out to eat, traveling to Bayshore Campground in Delaware and spending time with his daughters two Labradors, Maggie and Karli. Donald was a former member of the York Motorcycle Club. Mr. Harvey is survived by a daughter, Debra Harvey Ray and her husband, Stephen of Red Lion; a half sister, Carleen Dunlap of Red Lion; two stepsisters, Helen Kornbau and her husband, Roy and Delores Nubile and her husband, Ken, all of Red Lion; and two aunts, Betty Schott of York and Dot Zeigler of Winterstown.
