Donald A. Kelly

Wellsburg, NY - Donald A. Kelly, Age 75, long time resident of Wellsburg, NY and most recently of Sayre House in Sayre, PA passed away peacefully Monday December 7, 2009. Don was born March 29, 1934 in Sayre PA son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Yaple) Kelly. He was a graduate of Towanda High School Class of 1952. Don was retired from the Hilliard Corporation after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a Lifetime Member and Past Chief of the Wellsburg Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed playing cards, telling stories, especially jokes, camping and music. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Marion Kelly of Sayre, PA, children, Joseph (Jolene) Kelly of Warrenton, VA, David (Connie) Kelly of Springhill, FL, James (Kay) Kelly of E. Smithfield, PA, Jane (James) Campbell of Wellsburg, NY, Elizabeth (Jeff) Stoquert of Wellsburg, NY, his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Danielle, Cayla, Kelly, Jennifer, Patrick, James, Jordan, Kyle and Kamrin, great-grandchild, Jaxson, a brother, Jack (Mary) Kelly of Apalachin, NY. Don was predeceased by his parents and a brother, David Kelly. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, December 11, 2009 from 7 to 9 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main St. Wellsburg, NY and again from 11 to 1PM Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the funeral home where at 1:00 PM his service will be held with Reverend Randy Stilson from the Chemung Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY. The family will provide flowers and memorials are directed to the Sayre House Resident Activity Fund, 1001 N. Elmer Ave. Sayre, PA 18840 or to the Wellsburg Volunteer Fire Dept. P. O. Box 23, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
