Dolores K. (Krawczyk) Marcheski, 95, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 6, 2024 at her daughter’s residence in Dallastown.
Born January 8, 1929 in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Grigas) Krawczyk.
She was employed for many years as a clerk/typist with the PA Department of Revenue – Office of Chief Counsel until her retirement.
Dolores was a member of Saint Catherine Laboure Parish – Harrisburg. An accomplished artist, she was an active member of various artist groups, including the Susquehanna Valley China Painters Guild.
Mrs. Marcheski is survived by her three daughters, Judy Lynn Deeny and her husband, Jim of Newport, Sharon M. Kahlbaugh and her husband, Edward of Dallastown and Deborah J. Enders and her husband, Gary of New Cumberland; two grandchildren, Jennifer M. Kern and her husband, Samuel and Megan A. Kahlbaugh; two great grandchildren, Parker E. Kern and Maisie L. Kern; two step granddaughters, Leanne Smith and Jessica McVicker; two step great grandchildren, Jubilee Henry and Rollins Henry. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Layne D. Kern.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Saint Catherine Laboure Parish, 4000 Derry Rd, Harrisburg. Officiating the Mass will be the Reverend James E. Lease. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
