Dolores M. Meyers

YORK – Dolores M. (McDonald) Meyers, 75, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at York Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore, MD.

Mrs. Meyers was born on November 28, 1948 in Baltimore, MD; a daughter of the late Lawrence G. and Margaret E. (Lemley) McDonald. She had worked in communications at Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland until its closing. Later when she moved to York, she worked at Rite Aid in Cape Horn for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her granddaughters.

Dolores is survived by a son, Frederick C. Meyers of York; a daughter, Margaret D. and husband David Thomas of Felton; and two granddaughters, Allison M. Thomas and Melanie D. Thomas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Aileen Ranieri.
