Mechanicsburg – Dolores M. (Grumbine) Wingert, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of LeRoy P. Wingert to whom she was married for 66 years. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2 Willow Park Rd. in Mechanicsburg. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry, PA 17339 is in charge of arrangements. Born on September 5, 1930 in Union Deposit, PA, a daughter of Frank D. and Lottie Mae (Gibney) Grumbine, she was a loving housewife and homemaker. Dolores was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mechanicsburg. Along with her husband, LeRoy, Mrs. Wingert is survived by a son, Michael Wingert of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Vicki and husband Brian Bennett of Lewisberry; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and wife Linda Grumbine of Harrisburg, and Barry and wife Susan Grumbine of Arizona; and three sisters, Betty Stark of Arizona, Lois Armstrong of Chester Springs, and Janice and husband Robert Haines of Hershey. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Robert Grumbine; and four sisters, Polly Rainey, Gloria Powell, Thelma Pieffer, and Geraldine Norton.
