Dolores G. 'Toti' (Munotz) Melbert

YORK – Dolores G. 'Toti' (Munotz) Melbert, 67, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of George W. Melbert to whom she was married for 43 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 950 W. Market St., York with her priest, The Rev. Thomas R. Hoke officiating. Viewings will be held from 5-7:00 PM Sunday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York and from 9-10:00 AM Monday at the Church. Private burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Born April 8, 1944 in Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain, she moved to the US in 1968 with her husband, George. Mrs. Melbert had worked at the Hardee's in West York. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making clothing and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Melbert is survived by three sons, George J. and wife Cathy Melbert of Shiloh, Michael A. Melbert of Akron, PA, and John D. and wife Danielle Melbert of Owings Mills, MD; three grandchildren, Sierra, Tristan, and Vivienne; two brothers, Pepe and Paco Garcia both of Spain; two sister in laws, Nina A. and husband Jonas Rupp of Rochester, NY and Linda L. and husband Gerald Lautsbaugh of Lancaster; three nieces, and two nephews.
