Diane Ruth (Ilgenfritz) Mclaughlin

HALLAM- Diane Ruth (Ilgenfritz) McLaughlin, 64, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 at her residence. A celebration of life tribute service will be 4 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Chaplain Ellen Good officiating. A visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service. Ms. McLaughlin was born on June 26, 1947 in Columbia, a daughter of the late Bayard L. and Ruth T. (Kinard) Ilgenfritz. Diane worked as an Accounting Clerk for PH Glatfelter for six years. Prior to, she worked part time for the York Newspaper Co. for 21 years and Ferranti International, Inc., formerly ISC Defense Systems, Inc. for 27 years. Ms. McLaughlin loved gardening and crafting, especially making wreaths. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Diane is survived by a daughter, Deborah Leber and her husband, Dennis Jr. of York; three sons, Walter Kline, Jr. and his wife, Diann of Windsor, Brandon Kline and his wife Brynn of York and Kyle McLaughlin and his fiancé Kimberly Banzhoff of Mountville; five grandchildren, Lindsey and Nathan Leber, and Tyler, Cody and Lexis Kline. Brandon’s wife Brynn has twins on the way due in March; one sister, Bessie Anderson and her husband, Curtis of York; five brothers, Bayard Ilgenfritz and his wife, Vivian, Lester Ilgenfritz and his wife, Jean, Barry Ilgenfritz and his late wife, Melissa, Bradley Ilgenfritz and his wife, Sharon and Terry Ilgenfritz and his companion, Dana Swartz, all of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403 or VNA Hospice Services, 912 S. George St., York, PA 17403.
