Diane M. (Smith) Allen

RED LION- Diane M. (Smith) Allen, 67, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of Dennis A. Allen, to whom she was married for 45 years. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Zion United Methodist Cemetery, 1155 Felton Road, Red Lion. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on July 21, 1949 in York, she was a daughter of the late Richard D. and Alma P. (Herbst) Smith. Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her first passion was spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, drawing, having picnics and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Red Lion Library. Along with her husband, Dennis, Diane is survived by one son, Joseph D. Allen and his wife, Missi of Red Lion; one daughter, Trisha L. Marcules and her husband, David of Red Lion; heart son, Robert Trout and his wife, Michelle of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Sarah Marcules, Calvin Marcules and Kody Allen; two heart granddaughters, Brittney Trout and Courtney Trout; two brothers, Dale R. Smith and his companion, Carol of Airville and Richard M. Smith and his wife, Diana of Windsor; five godchildren, Dillion Shafer, Katy S. Smeltzer, Justin Shaffer, Richard Smith and Melinda Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
