Diane Kay Hartman

YORK- Diane Hartman, 52, passed away Wednesday evening July 23, 2008 at York Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Loganville with her pastor, the Rev. Rick Rischel officiating. Viewings will be held at the church 6-8:00 p.m. Friday and 9-10:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Codorus Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Diane was born in York on October 3, 1955, a daughter of Kenneth "Bud" and Barbara Lou (Taylor) Hartman. She was a graduate of Dallastown Area High School. Diane was a life member of the Codorus Church of the Brethren and did volunteer computer work for the church. She was also the recorder of finances, newsletter writer, and headed the prayer chain at the church. Diane loved the beach and liked to collect cat figurines. Diane was a big Penn State Nittany Lions fan. In addition to her parents, Diane is survived by a brother, Randall S. Hartman and his wife Susan of New Oxford and Dean A. Hartman and his wife Nancy of LaGrange, GA; a sister, Sueanne M. Dulski and her husband Ken of Horsham; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Portico Fund at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Loganville, PA 17342.
