Diane M. Fry

YORK - Diane M. (Coppersmith) Fry, 69, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at her residence. She was the wife of Norman E. “Buck” Fry to whom she was married for over 30 years.

Born July 1, 1955 in York, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorthy V. (Martin) Coppersmith. For most of her working life, Diane was a customer service representative for YGS Group. Outside of work, she was an avid flower gardener and thoroughly enjoyed hosting holidays. She was the matriarch of her family and is remembered as having a huge heart and a caring soul. Most of all, her family, especially her grandchildren, were her world.

In addition to her husband, Buck, she is survived by her two children, Andrew Krepps and his wife Heather and Valerie Conway and her husband Sean; a step-daughter Jodi McClane and her husband Donald; a son-in-law Zak Zakaria; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Coppersmith and his wife Vicki, Wayne Coppersmith, and Robert Coppersmith and his wife Amy; and sister Sue Warner. She is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Vicki Zakaria.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is assisting the family with arrangements.
