Diana L. Daugherty

YORK- Diana L. (Combe) Daugherty, 71, of Springfield Township passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Gerald L. Daugherty. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Pastor Paul Zander will be officiating at the service. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the services. Mrs. Daugherty was born in York on October 2, 1949, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Fishel) Combe. Mrs. Daugherty was a 1967 graduate of West York Senior High and received an associates degree from York College. She was a caregiver to numerous family members and friends. She loved being surrounded by her many cats, “her kids”. Mrs. Daugherty leaves a son, Albert W. Brickner and his wife Carrie of York; a daughter, Dorothy C. Fields and her husband Fred of Berwick; three grandchildren, Logan, Cole, and Cody; Father-in-Law, George Daugherty, of York; Brother-in-Law, Geoff Daugherty and wife Robin, of Red Lion.
