Denny Lee Dennison

WINDSOR - Denny Lee Dennison, Sr., 62, formerly of Abingdon, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Mount Joy Hospice. He was the husband of Susan (Fink) Dennison. The couple planned to celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary on December 21st. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Red Lion Cemetery with Father Michael R. Brecht officiating. A funeral cortege will meet at 9:45 a.m. at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion prior to the graveside service. A viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Born on July 11, 1950 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Wade Perry and Eleanor (Caudill) Dennison. Denny was an Instructor at Harford Community College and also worked with troubled and disabled children. Mr. Dennison loved fishing, cooking on the grill and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. Most importantly he was a beloved family man. Along with his wife, Susan, Denny is survived by one son, Denny L. Dennison, Jr. and his wife, Jenn of Windsor; three daughters, Terri Dennison of Roscoe, IL, Lisa Matheis and her husband, George of Felton, and Kimberly Dennison of Windsor; 11 grandchildren, Alysa, Christian and Denny Lee Dennison, III, Emilie, Frank and Elizabeth Matheis, Sierra Dennison, and Christopher, Melissa, Nicole and Walter Ryan; five great grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Jasper.
