Dennis William Mittel

YORK – Dennis William Mittel, 65, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Maxine S. (Seitz) Mittel to whom he was married for 37 years on July 26, 2012. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Pastor Steven C. Almquist officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born October 7, 1947 in Columbia a son of William Mittel of East Prospect and the late Doris (Keller) Mittel, he was a 1965 graduate of Eastern High School. Mr. Mittel graduated from the CAD program at York Technical Institute and was a plastic injection mold builder for various injection mold businesses in York County. He was a member of York Area Radio Control Club and attended Living Word Community Church. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Mittel is survived by two daughters, Tracy A. and husband Greg Mummert and Becky C. and husband Andy Thompson all of York; three granddaughters, Maisie, Madison, and Lucy; a brother, Wayne and wife Stephanie Mittel of York; and a nephew, Erik Mittel of Dover.
