Dennis L. Clark, Sr.

DOVER – Dennis L. Clark, Sr., 70, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Donna L. (Alwine) Clark to whom he was married for 49 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with The Rev. J.P. Bohanan officiating. Viewings will be held from 7-9:00 PM Wednesday and 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Born July 10, 1942 in York a son of the late Dorothy (Aubel) Clark Andrews and the late George Clark, he was a member of the first graduating class from York Suburban High School in 1960. Mr. Clark had retired from Continental Wire & Cable Co. after more than 25 yrs. of service and loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was a member of the Rooster Club, 13th Ward, Vigilant Club, Viking A.A., Prince Club, York Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Yeagertown Fire Co., West York VFW, and Shiloh American Legion, Post 791 where he also served as Adjutant of the Sons of the American Legion. In addition to his wife Donna, Mr. Clark is survived by a daughter, Lori A. and husband Chris Krebs of York; a son, Dennis L. Clark, II of Dover; four grandchildren, Tiffany L. Krebs, Dennis A. Clark, Branden K. Clark, and Christopher J. Clark; two brothers, George and Robert Clark both of York; a sister, Barbara Pines of Red Lion; many nieces, one nephew, and great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
