Dennis E. Kelso

York—Dennis E. Kelso, 63, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sherrill L. (Balmer) Kelso to whom he was married for 14 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 am, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. A visitation will be from 9-10 am, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born November 3, 1947 in McConnelsburg, he was a son of Margaret (Nesbit) Kelso and the late Malcom E. Kelso. He was employed with Stewart & Tate for several years as a cement finisher until his retirement in 1998. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kelso is also survived by one son, Denny E. Kelso II of Bloomsburg, one daughter, Bobbie Kelso of Waynesboro, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, two step-sons, Todd Pieprzyk and wife, Shauna of Maine and Kevin Pieprzyk and wife, Meghan of Beaver Falls, one step-daughter, Tawnya Morrow and husband, Bryan of Wellsville, OH, two brothers, Richard Kelso of ILL., and Randy Kelso of McConnelsburg, one sister, Donna Miller of McConnelsburg, a god daughter, Jada Carr and several nieces and nephews.
