Delos Punk J. Perry

Wellsburg, NY-Delos J. "Punk" Perry, Age 71, of Salisbury, NC, formerly of Ridgebury Township, PA died Wednesday August 19, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Delos was born August 13, 1938 in Troy, PA son of the late John and Helen Cole Perry. He attended area schools and married the former Nola Kay Morgan on October 27, 1956. "Punk" and Nola celebrated 53 wonderful years together. He was retired having worked in construction for many years. His interests included playing horseshoes, golf, fishing, boating and playing euchre. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who he adored. Survivors include his wife Nola K. Perry, sons, Lynn (LuEllen) Perry of Lowman, NY, Dale "Butch" (Lisa) Perry of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Cecil (Mechelle) Perry of Rockwell, NC, daughters, Ann (Kenneth) Shock of Wellsburg, NY, Cheryl Zabady and her companion Eugene Kohan of Elmira, NY, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 7 sisters and a brother-in-law, aunts and uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. "Punk" was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Lois Jean Benjamin and brother, John Perry. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, August 24, 2009 from 7 to 8 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main St. Wellsburg, NY. His service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 PM with Pastor Rob Wuethrich of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will be in Hanlon Hill Cemetery, Ridgebury Township, PA.
