Delores J. (Patterson) Imler

YORK – Delores J. (Patterson) Imler, 67, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the wife of William E. Imler to whom she was married for 38 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor Charles Bubb officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Born April 9, 1945 in York, a daughter of the late Reuben and Effie (Brillhart) Patterson, she was a 1963 graduate of West York High School. Mrs. Imler had retired from Fed Ex Ground. Delores will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who adored her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Imler is survived by a son, Craig L. and wife Tammy Imler of York; two daughters, Beverly A. and husband Robert Wertz of Mechanicsburg and Miki L. Rodgers and companion Timothy Goelz of York; two stepchildren, William E. Imler, Jr. and Stacy Imler; five grandchildren, Spencer, William, Alexis, Grayson, and Quincy; seven step grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Cindy, Tim, Camryn, Emily, and Chelsea; two brothers, Richard and Ralph Patterson both of York; and four sisters, Loretta Herman, Barbara Kerestegian, Nancy Lightner, and Patricia Kline all of York.
