Delores "Fuzz" L. (Flickinger) Buchanan

YORK- Delores “Fuzz” L. (Flickinger) Buchanan, 86, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late William C. Buchanan who passed away in 2006. A Celebration of Life Service will be at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born June 19, 1930 in York, Delores was a daughter of the late William F. and Nettie V. (Noel) Flickinger. Delores resided in Dover all her life. She worked as a waitress and also coordinating bus trips to Atlantic City, among other destinations since the late 1970’s. Delores enjoyed crocheting afghans for family and friends. She was a huge Orioles fan and loved traveling. Mrs. Buchanan is survived by a son, Robert Fidler and his girlfriend, Deb Warner of Red Lion; two daughters, Karen Kolegraf and her fiancée Greg Hoffman of York, and Kathy; three grandchildren, including, Amber Rickrode and her husband William of Hanover, and Shane Fidler and his fiancée Emilee Kerr of South Carolina; a four-legged great granddog, Zoey; a sister, Joyce Wiley of York; five step-children, including Barbara (Buchanan) Brunner, and numerous nieces and nephews that she cherished. In addition to her husband and parents, Delores was preceded in death by two brothers, William F. Flickinger, Jr., and Earl “Bob” Flickinger, and two sisters, Elva West and Margaret Raver.
