Delores A. Zentkovich

Stewartstown--Delores A. (Roupe) Zentkovich, 82, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard J. Zentkovich with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage on February 24th.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, October 23, 2023 at Turnpike Baptist Church, 519 S. Main St., Shrewsbury. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Jeff Feeser. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00AM, Monday at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born June 10, 1941 in Uniontown, she was the daughter of George and Merle (Matlick) Roupe. Delores was the 9th Roupe child of ten.

She was a loving and dedicated homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gardening, camping and was a member of Turnpike Baptist Church. However, what she cherished the most was spending time with her family and helping those in need.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Zentkovich is also survived by her son, Terry L. Zentkovich and his wife, Terri of Abingdon, MD; daughter-in-law, Annette Zentkovich of Red Lion; six grandchildren, Jessica (Chad) Allison, Holly Zentkovich, Kelli (Pete) Resseguie, Jenna Zentkovich, April Zentkovich and Kyle Zentkovich; five great grandchildren, Troy Shoeman, Cheyenne Shoeman, Kloee Allison, Kaedon Allison and Caleb Resseguie; four sisters, Mabel Rafalko, Eleanor Grieb, Gladys Collins and Betty Roupe and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel R. Zentkovich.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Turnpike Baptist Church, 519 S. Main Street, Shrewsbury, Pa 17361.
