Deborah L. "Deb" Zane

YORK- Deborah L. “Deb” (Shultz) Zane, 75, of Springettsbury Township, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Genesis Kingston Court in York. She was the wife of Charles W. Zane. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on February 1, 2024. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 1 -2:30 p.m. Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito will be officiating at the service. 

Mrs. Zane was born in York on September 22, 1949, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Gladys (Baublitz) Shultz. She worked as a teachers aid at Yorkshire Elementary School, East York Elementary School, Eastminster Preschool, and Safety Town. 

Mrs. Zane was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She was a 1967 Graduate of York Suburban High School. She enjoyed fishing and boating and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

Along with her husband Charles, she leaves a son Charles W. Zane, II and his wife Allison of West York; a daughter, Christine A. Dimoff and her husband Donald of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Casey Dimoff and Courtney Huntzinger; a brother, Donald L. Shultz, II of York; a sister, Judith A. Strine and her husband Gene of Aurora, OH; as well as nieces and nephews.
