Deborah J. Mayer

YORK – Deborah J. Mayer, 76, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away at Normandie Ridge Nursing Facility on Monday, September 9, 2024.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM located at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating the service. There will be an hour of visitation from 2-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Deborah graduated from York College and Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She retired from teaching at Conewago Valley School District.

Surviving members of her family are her siblings Kenneth Mayer and his wife Mary, Annette Mayer, and Cynthia Concino and her husband John, as well as niece Abby and nephews Justin, Aaron, and Peter. She was preceded in death by her brother James Mayer and nephew Jamie Mayer.
