Deborah M. Kjellander

WELLSBURG, NY- Deborah M. Kjellander, Age 53 of Checkerville Road Gillett, PA , although prematurely, found her lifelong goal to walk with the lord on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY with her loving family at her side. Deb was born on June 30, 1955 in New York, NY daughter of the former Eleanor (Summerville) McCracken and the late Edward McCracken. She was employed at the First Citizens National Bank in Gillett, PA as Head Teller. Her bright smile and helpfulness will be deeply missed by all that came in contact with her. Deb was a member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church and Home Bureau. She enjoyed scrapbooking and being active in the Gillett Community. Recently she traveled to Arizona where she found great joy in teaching Vacation Bible School to the Navajo Children. She is survived by her mother Eleanor McCracken of Horseheads, NY, loving husband Gary E. Kjellander, sons, Eric Kjellander, Wyatt & Christie Kjellander, daughter, Lindsey Kjellander all of Gillett, PA, her beautiful grandchildren, Lane, Lilli and Lexi, brother and sister-in-law, Michael & Brenda McCracken of Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Leah & Joe Siuta of Kingston, NY, Sarah & Rich Kiley of Rochester, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in Checkerville Cemetery, Gillett, PA. Memorials are directed to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Central NY Chapter, 401 N. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY.
