Deborah A. (Vogler) Salsbury

York—Deborah A. (Vogler) Salsbury, 60, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of H. Edward Salsbury to whom she was married for 41 years. A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 1310 3rd Street, West Portsmouth, OH 45663 with a viewing from 12 to 1 p.m. Born April 2, 1948 in Portsmouth, OH, she was a daughter of Stacie (King) Vogler of W. Portsmouth, OH and the late Delbert R. Vogler. She was employed as a manager with Mailbox Etc., in York for several years until her retirement. An avid quilter, she was a member of the Quilting Society. She also loved flowers, gardening and her dog Fozzy. In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Salsbury is also survived by two sons, Michael E. Salsbury of Hilliard, OH and Matthew T. Salsbury of South Lebanon, OH, one daughter, Amy M. Salsbury of Rockville, MD, two step-grandchildren, Austin and Madison Guter, one brother, Dee Vogler of W. Portsmouth, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
