YORK – Deborah A. (Miller) Ritter, 70, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of Bernd-Udo H. “Bentz” Ritter with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage on May 11, 2022. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. Miller and the late Dawn (Gouker) Emig; she was a 1969 graduate of Central York High School and a 2000 graduate of Millersville University. Deborah was a Pediatric Registered Nurse with Memorial Hospital, a case manager with Keystone Health Plan, and later retired from Capital Blue Cross. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ritter is survived by a daughter, Kristin D. and husband Andrew Garber of York; two brothers, Dennis Miller Sr. and wife Victoria of Pearl City, HI and Brian Miller of Hanover; a stepbrother, Todd Bender of York; a sister, Bethanne Lucabaugh of York; and her stepmother, Karen R.
