Deborah A. (Buser) Leiphart

YORK- Deborah A. (Buser) Leiphart, 63, died on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of Richard E. Leiphart. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on August 2nd. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Christ United Methodist Church, 5 Main St., Yorkanna with Pastor Jason Guillaume and Reverend Bud Bish officiating. Viewings will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday, both at the church. The service will be webcast at HeffnerCare.com by searching Deborah’s obituary at approximately 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Yorkanna U.M. Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on February 5, 1959 in Columbia, she was the daughter of Patricia (Heindel) Buser of York and the late William Buser. Deborah was a caterer at Big Bob’s BBQ for over 15 years where she loved working with her family until her retirement. Deborah was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Debb loved giving time to her church and missionary trips, camping, traveling to the mountains, hiking and Harley rides. Most importantly, she loved Sunday night dinners with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Along with her husband, Richard, Deborah is survived by her son, Bobby Leiphart and his wife, Lauren of Hellam; daughter, Cassie Irvin and her husband, Matthew of York; six grandchildren, Isaac, Gracie, Solomon, Rufus, Willow and Wynnie; brother, Robert Buser and his wife, Diane of York; sister in law, Michele Buser; and many loved nieces and nephews.
