Dean L. Shaffner

YORK- Dean L. Shaffner, 76, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Ordella L. (Moody) Shaffner to whom he was married for 51 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry with a viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry. Mr. Shaffner was born July 9, 1931 in Newberry Township, a son of the late David and Elva Shaffner. He was a retired operating engineer and truck driver. Mr. Shaffner was preceded in death by his sister, Lidia Leonard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
