Dean Edward Warner, Sr.

WINDSOR - Dean Edward Warner, Sr., 55, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Schirl A. (Mitzel) Warner. The couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on February 4. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. A viewing will be from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Born on October 16, 1958 in Felton, he was a son of the late William and Maybell (Grace) Warner. Dean worked for over 35 years at General Dynamics, most recently as a forge operator. Mr. Warner loved hunting, fishing and playing bingo with his wife. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his granddaughter. Along with his wife, Schirl, Dean is survived by one son, Dean Warner, Jr. and his companion, Sarah Reid; one granddaughter, Alana Marie Warner; four brothers, William Warner, Jr. and his wife Barb of Dover, James Warner of Felton, John Warner and his wife, Rita of Winterstown and David Warner of Red Lion; three sisters, Maryann Keesey of Lower Windsor, Darlene Gunnet and her husband, Barry of York and Joy Kite of Red Lion; and many nieces and nephews.
