David William Viars, Sr.

David William Viars, Sr., 58, of Pottsville died peacefully Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Schuylkill Medical Center South. Born October 13, 1955 in Pottsville he was the son of the late Shirley (Evans) Viars. David worked for Allan A. Myers for several years. He enjoyed watching football especially his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. He was a compassionate and loving family man who will be forever missed by all who ever knew him. He enjoyed every minute spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his two grandchildren, Ryan and Caitlin. He is survived by his loving wife, Violet Viars, son David Viars Jr., daughters, Alice (Viars) Krisa and Tanya Viars, twelve grandchildren, Trevor, Dylan, Jaron, Brentyn, Blantynn, David, Brandon, Brody, Samantha, Taylor, Tyler, and Gabrielle, brothers, Robert, Lester, Kevin, Richard, sisters, Virginia (Viars) Weismiller, Beverly Viars. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
