David W. Englert

Wilkes-Barre - David W. Englert, age 44, formerly of Lock Haven, died at Wilkes Barre Veterans Hospital on Monday, May 14, 2007. He was born in Lock Haven on June 2, 1962, son of the late William L. Englert and Eva Lou Cartwright Englert of Mill Hall. He attended the Hillview Wesleyan Church, enjoyed traveling, hunting, and fishing, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Besides his mother, he is survived by a son: Daniel L. Englert of Alabama, sister: Grayce E. Mason of Avis, brothers: Tim P. Englert of Lock Haven and Richard S. Englert of Flemington, and numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by a daughter: Sara and two sisters: Susan Gregory and Diana Hazel Englert. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Bruce Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery at the family's convenience. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
