David T. Fritz

WILKES-BARRE-David Thomas Fritz, 59, of South Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at his home. He was born in Hazelton on March 2, 1948, the son of Anne D. (Vacula) Fritz of Audenried and the late Thomas D. Fritz, Jr. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Wilkes-Barre, and the Slovak Heritage Society of Northeastern PA. Prior to retiring in 2005, he was employed in the maintenance department of the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Plains Township, for 20 years. His grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Gertrude Fritz and Anna and James Fares also preceded him in death. Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Thomas David Fritz, III, Audenried; sister Dawn L. Fudge, Auburndale, FL; two nieces, Candace Daniels and Caitlin Fudge; great niece, Gabriella (Bella) Daniels. The funeral will be held Monday with a Requiem Service at 10 a.m. in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 East Ross Street, Wilkes-Barre. Father George Dimopoulos will officiate. Interment will be in Oak lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, 542-544 North Wyoming Ave., Hazelton and Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 East Ross Street, Wilkes-Barre.
