David R. Trimbur

YORK- David R. Trimbur, 51, of York, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Verne) Trimbur. The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 219 S. Beaver St., in York, with a visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Father Keith Carroll will be officiating at the service. David was born in Pittsburgh on November 12, 1965, the son of the late Paul E. and Dolores B. (Woolensack) Trimbur. He was a 1988 graduate of Robert Morris University and later became the owner and operator of Trimprint and Typhoon Management, LLC, a restaurant entrepreneur, and the executive director of the Big 33 Foundation. He was a member of the York Hawks Club, President of the Panther Foundation, and very active in youth sports as the long term President of EYC. He loved spending time with his family, coaching his son in sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and traveling to the beach. In addition to his beloved wife, David is survived by his son, David P. Trimbur; his brother, Paul J. Campbell-Trimbur and husband Michael; and brother-in-law, David Postell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita M. Postell.
