LOCK HAVEN - David M. Kinley, 84, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Susque-View Home where he resided since August. He was born in Lock Haven on February 28, 1928 the son of the late Steven and Eliza (Miller) Kinley. David was married to the former Cindy M. Platt they celebrated two years of marriage together. He was employed at Jersey Shore Steel and retired after several years. He enjoyed country music, western movies, fishing, and his dog Smokey. David was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion Post of Lock Haven. Surviving are his wife one son Henry A. (Nancy) Brazell of Shippensburg also five daughters Margaret “Peggy” Pruey of Flemington, Crystal (Harry Bauman) Fiedler of Castanea, Dorothy (Rich) Confer of Flemington, Robin (J.R. Chapman) Chaplain of Jersey Shore and Katie (Dervin) Claycomb of Johnstown. 20 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren One brother Steve Kinley of Lock Haven. He was preceded in death by his first wife Virgie (Lancer) Kinley and a great-granddaughter Serenity. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall pastor Janis Heiser officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
