David J. Mclaughlin

York—David J. McLaughlin, 55, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Vickie A. (Sicca) McLaughlin to whom he was married 34 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 8:30PM, Sunday July 30, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with Certified Celebrant Kealey Smartnick officiating. A viewing will be held from 6:30-8:30PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Born December 27, 1961 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Naomi G. (Cheek) McLaughlin. He was employed with Penn-Air in York for the past 23 years. David loved music. He listened to many different genres and attended several concerts with his wife over the years. An avid fan of horror movies, he also enjoyed beach vacations with his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. McLaughlin is also survived by two daughters, Melanie A. Kamenik and her husband, John of Windsor and Amanda A. McLaughlin of York; three grandchildren, Francis, Ronin and Freya; two brothers, Bruce McLaughlin and wife, Janice of Seven Valleys and Neal McLaughlin and wife, Lynn of Joppa, MD; one sister, Karen Zuchowski and husband, Joe of Venice, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
