David H. Urey

CHANCEFORD TOWNSHIP- David H. Urey, 52, of Felton, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. David was born in Airville on November 6, 1956, a son of the late James and Mary Ellen (Mayberry) Urey. He was the Owner and Operator of Urey's Garage on Rt. 74. for 24 years. David was a member of The Brogue Jaycee's, Collinsville Fish and Game, York County Fiddlers Association and Red Lion V.F.W. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and traveling to the mountains. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David leaves two daughters, Jill D. Royer and her husband Doug of Brogue and Katlyn M. Urey of Red Lion. He was the loving Pappy of Isabella, Isaac, and Hannah. He also leaves seven Brothers, Jesse J., Carl F., Stephen E., Gary W., Peter S., John E., and Timothy S.; and two sisters, Marcia R. Lane and Teresa B. Neyer.
