YORK- David Hardy Hutchison, 34, of Springettsbury Township, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of Tara J. (Panzera) Hutchison. The couple celebrated their 11thwedding anniversary on May 1, 2021 and share a 10 year old son, Cole. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Pastor Tonya L.H. Brubaker will be officiating at the service. The service will be webcast live by searching David’s obituary at heffnerCare.com, starting at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday. David was born in Ft. Myers, FL on November 21, 1986, the son of Rose (Johns) Hodges of Ft. Myers, FL and the late Roger Hutchison. David attended the Mormon church as a child. He loved to sing and enjoyed playing tuba in the high school band. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 2005 and went on to play semi pro football for the Southwest Florida Stingrays and Southwest Florida Bobcats for a total of 11 years. David loved the Miami Dolphins and was president of the Miami Dolphins Fan Club in York. He was an avid bass fisherman and was a member of Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail. Along with his loving wife Tara, he leaves a son, Cole J. Hutchison; a half-brother, Kelly Turberville; a half-sister, Marie Williams and many friends that he called family.
