YORK-David Gonzalez, 64, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of Bienvenida Tejada. The couple was married for 35 years. A Catholic Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 309 South George Street in York. Viewings will be from 3-6p.m. on Monday December 28, 2020 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with strict limits on attendees inside the building. There will also be a viewing from 10-11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be private at Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Mr. Gonzalez was born in Tenares, Dominican Republic on February 3, 1956, the son of the late Roselio and Ana Olivia (Henrriquez) Gonzalez. He was a self-employed contractor who worked in real estate. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in York. Mr. Gonzalez leaves four sons, David Gonzalez, Jerry Gonzalez, Dalvin Gonzalez, and Gabriel Gonzalez; ten daughters, Josy Reinoso, Ysabel Gonzalez, Yuri Perrotta, Sujerry Peralta, Jenery Gonzalez, Diana Gonzalez, Darline Gonzalez, Darleny Gonzalez, Madeline Gonzalez, and Fridania Gonzalez; 20 grandchildren, and a great grandson. Also surviving is a brother, Roselito Gonzalez; four sisters, Ramona Checo, Toṅa Gonzalez, Isabel Reinoso, and Maria Gonzalez; three step brothers, Negro, Luis, and Ysidro Gonzalez; four step sisters, Niṅita, Aridia, Gloria, and Argentina Gonzalez, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ondina Gonzalez, a brother, Rafael Gonzalez; two step brothers, Fermin and Teniente Gonzalez; and two step sisters, Magdalena and Nelia Gonzalez.
