David E. Weigel, Sr.

David E. Weigel, Sr., 88, of Windsor Township, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born in York on December 25, 1927 to David and Irene (Zeigler) Weigel. He is survived by his sons, Dave, Jr. (Kathy), Steve, John, James (Cindy), a daughter Nancy (Ron) McKinley. He has four grandsons, a granddaughter, five great grandsons, four great granddaughters, a great-great grandson, and a sister, Treva Albright. David worked for National Biscuit Company, White Rose Motors, and he retired from Shaull Oldsmobile. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy and two sisters, Dorthea Kreidler and Ethel Deardorff. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. The Reverend Edward J. Ross, III will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
