David D. Johnson

Lock Haven - David D. Johnson, 50 of Spong Hollow Road, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008. He was born May 27, 1957 in Pittsburgh the son of Homer & Marguerite (Travis) Johnson. David was married to the former Janice L. Pletcher on October 22, 1983 and they recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. David was a self employed roofer. He enjoyed music, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his dogs Bene, Suzee and Dog. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany from 1975 to 1978. Surviving are his loving wife and mother Marguerite Johnson of Nanty-Glo, PA and a son Travis N. Johnson of Lock Haven a step-son Dave Tuttle also of Lock Haven. He is survived by two grandchildren Zackery and Zander also a brother Richard R. (LouAnn) Johnson of Fleming, PA and a sister Kathleen (Daryl) Landrum of Ebensburg, PA He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held 3:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. George Grossman of Walnut Street Baptist Church officiating.
