David C. Turner

David C. Turner, Age 48, of Iron Mine Road, Troy, PA passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at home with his loving family at his side. David was born April 21, 1962 in Fayetteville, NC son of the late Marvin J. Turner and Norma Marie (Young) Turner Brown. He was a graduate of SRU High School Class of 1980. He married the former Nancy L Chapman on September 6, 1986 and they enjoyed 24 years together. David was employed as a truck driver for Jen Bar Trucking in Rochester, NY prior to his illness. He attended Austinville Union Church and his spare time enjoyed working on and building his home, fixing cars and cutting wood. Survivors include his loving wife Nancy Turner, son Dustin M. Turner and his fiance Lily of Austinville, PA, daughters, Shelby C. Turner and Tiffany N. Turner both of Austinville, mother and step father Norma & Warren Brown of FL, brothers, Mike & Marilyn Turner of Stokesdale, NC, Jim Turner of NC, Jack Brown of E. Smithfield, PA, sisters, Shelly & Louis Tillinghast of Gillett, PA, Pat Parrish of Ridgebury, PA, Sharon Crane of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, brother-in-law, Richard Chapman, several nieces and nephews. His father, Marvin J. Turner a brother John Turner and sister Linda Turner predeceased David. A celebration of Life will be held Privately on November 6, 2010.
