David C, Eyer

WINDSOR- David C. Eyer, 74, of Windsor Township, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Edna R. (Runkle) Eyer. The couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on July 16th. He was preceded in death by his first wife Kaye (Yetter) Eyer. Services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Eyer was born in Lewistown on September 18, 1937. He was the son of the late Delbert and Violet (Fye) Eyer. He was an Auto Mechanic for the former Grim’s Automotive and Jack Giambalvo; after retiring he enjoyed working at Raab’s Fruit Farm. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was an avid gardener. Mr. Eyer leaves five daughters, Tracey Shaull, Karen Blevins, Joyce Sager, Sherry Miller, and Beth Innerst; four sons, Carl Smith, Earl Holtzinger, Lester Holtzinger, Jr., and Jeffrey Holtzinger. He leaves a grandson, Jeremy Shaull and his wife Hollie, a granddaughter, Nattalee Shaull and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren; a brother Delbert; and three sisters, Ethel, Elsie, and Dolly.
