David Allen Nyborg

YORK – David Allen Nyborg, 56 of Springettsbury Township, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2021 at York Hospital. A service will be announced at a later date. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Nyborg was born in Baltimore, MD on March 31, 1965. He was the son of George Nyborg and his wife Debbie of Forrest Hill, MD and the late Jane (Watson) Philpot and leaves her husband John Philpot. David served in the U.S. Navy, retired from General Motors and was a Truck Driver for many years. He was a member of Third Tradition Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed helping people. If someone had a need, he was always there. He was a good friend to many. He leaves a son, James A. Nyborg of Marietta; a daughter, Jessica C. Nyborg and her fiancé, John Hammond of Felton; a step daughter, Jenna Kosar of Stewartstown; a grandson, Joseph Arroyo; a sister Lea Ann Mainster and her husband Brad of Maryland. He also leaves a nephew Matthew; a niece Mary, great nieces, Gabby and Natalie; step brothers and step sisters; and his service dog, Jesse. He was preceded in death by a service dog, Chief.
