David A. Bletz

David A. Bletz, 35 a former Beech Creek resident died Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Norfolk, VA. He was born May 31, 1975 in Columbia, SC the son of Joseph and Linda (Killinger) Bletz. David worked for McKinney Auto Parts, Suffolk, VA and earlier he assisted his father at J. & B. Services. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He played little league baseball in Lock Haven and was a member of Boy Scout Troup in Swissdale. David was a 1994 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Surviving are his fianc Jennifer his father Joseph Bletz and his step-mother Traci Bletz of Beech Creek also his mother Linda Long and her companion Marvin Haagen of Mill Hall. Two daughters Brianna Bletz and her mother April Bletz of Newport News, VA and Karley Bletz and her mother Jamie Bletz of DuBois, PA Two brothers Wesley Bletz and Scott Bletz both of Beech Creek and a half brother Thomas Long, III of Loganton, step-brother Chad Embick of Renovo, sister Brenda Bechdel of Mill Hall and a half-sister Brandy DeHaas of Bellfonte. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Lena Tremmel of Mill Hall and his step-grandmother MaryLee Winchester of Avis. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Fairview Cemetery, Loganton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701 Cemetery: Fairview Cemetery, Loganton, PA Visitation: Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 6:00 -7:00 P.M. Service: Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 7:00 P.M.
