Darline L. (Grim) Kennedy

Darline L. (Grim) Kennedy, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at York Hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd L. Brown. Darline then married William L. Kennedy, Jr. who passed away in 2014. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Pinchot Park Assembly of God, 2755 Rosstown Road, Wellsville with her pastor, The Rev. Tim Imes officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2017 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born August 20, 1942 in Mt. Wolf, a daughter of the late Virginia C. (Eisenhower) Becker and Kenneth S. Grim, she was a 1960 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Mrs. Kennedy retired from New Cumberland Defense Depot. She was a member of Pinchot Park Assembly of God and the American Legion. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by two sons, Scott A. Grim of Red Lion and Joseph L. Brown of Spry; a daughter, Sandra J. and husband Jerry Pippin of Red Lion; seven stepsons, Gene Kennedy, Carl Kennedy, William Kennedy, Ken Groff, Ricky Groff, Ed Groff and Gary Bupp; one stepdaughter, Patricia McMillian; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Ray Becker of WestYork; and three sisters, Wanda Tyson of Red Lion, Shirley Kohler of New Freedom, and Cindy Fulton of Austin, TX.
