Darlene J. (Colajezzi) Hook

DALLASTOWN-Darlene J. (Colajezzi) Hook, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Victorian Villa. She was the wife of the late Warren J. Hook and the late Stephen Michael Midway, III


Services for Mrs. Hook are private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.


Born on September 20, 1940 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Thelma (Bohrer) Colajezzi. Darlene was a line worker at McCormick & Company.


Mrs. Hook was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Yoe. She enjoyed camping, going to yard sales, crocheting, card games, crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


Mrs. Hook is survived by her son, Barry Midway and his husband, Joe Aiello of Deland, FL; daughter, Darlene Roberts and her husband, Bruce of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Justin Roberts of Aberdeen, MD and Jeremy Roberts and his wife, Katelyn of Red Lion; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Roberts and Emmett Roberts; brother, Doug Whitacre; sister, Janice Shubert; and step brother, Calvin Colajezzi. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Midway who passed away on May 1, 1996.
