DALLASTOWN- Daretta Gene Smeltzer, 77, died Friday February 26, 2016 at Manor Care Dallastown. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Canadochly Cemetery, 4845 E. Prospect Rd., in York, with Pastor Richard B. Starr officiating. Arrangements are by Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Born in Lower Windsor Township on April 28, 1938, Daretta was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Waughtel) Smeltzer. Ms. Smeltzer was a member of the former Bittersville United Methodist Church and the Young People’s Handicapped Club.
