Daniel W. Peregoy, Jr.

DALLASTOWN- Daniel W. Peregoy, Jr., 57, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his residence. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at Noon on Friday, September 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 1015 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg, with The Reverend Carl Harris officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM- Noon prior to the service. Inurnment will be in St. Francis Xavier’s Cemetery. Born July 25, 1959 in Bryn Mawr, PA, Daniel was the son of the late Daniel W. Sr. and Claire Helen (Elwell) Peregoy. He served for 28 years as a police officer for North Eastern Regional. Daniel was a member of the Starview Sportsman’s Association and the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards with his sisters. Daniel loved to spend time with his family and will be dearly missed. Mr. Peregoy is survived by a son, Daniel Peregoy and his wife Kristen of York; a daughter, Noelle Peregoy of York; three grandchildren, Braedyn, Lyla and Peyton; three sisters, Eileen Peregoy, Linda Wentz and her husband Steve, and Mary Allen and her husband Don, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Quisenberry. In honor of Daniel’s giving nature, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
