Daniel R. Mcgowan

STATE COLLEGE - Daniel R. McGowan, 64, a resident of Hearthside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at the nursing center. He was born February 11, 1950 in Jamestown, NY the son of the late Leon and Violet (Wertz) Weaver. Daniel was a clerk for ACI, and also worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He played saxophone and clarinet for Bud and the Dynamics. He is survived by one daughter Denise (Wyatt) Walker of Karthaus and three grandchildren Stacia, Ashton and Ty. Also surviving are his former wife Patricia McGowan of Renovo. At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
