Daniel L. Beamer

WILLIAMSPORT - Daniel L. Beamer, 70 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital. He was born March 1, 1940 in Williamsport the son of the late Claire and Edna (Hill) Beamer. He was married to the former Margaret L. Leavy on June 29, 1963 they celebrated 47 years of marriage. Daniel worked for Dean Livergood Sanitation and retired in 1993. He was a member of Citychurch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wrestling. Surviving are his wife, five daughters Pamela (Steven) Wiser of Williamsport, Marcia (Mark) Mitcheltree of Trout Run, Shirley Beamer, Connie Beamer and DeEtta (Robert) Baez all of Willimsport. Four grandchildren Monique, Tonnisha, Javon and Kayla, six great-grandchildren One brother Russell Royer of Evergreen Park, IL and two sisters Esther Goodspeed of Williamsport and Louella Caldwell of Muncy He was preceded in death by a twin brother Donald and a sister Martha Beamer. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Citychurch, 36 E. Fourth St., Williamsport with Pastor Earl Neff officiating. Interment will be private at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery (White Church), Montoursville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport.
